Olga Fontana. Creative instructor

In 1991 together with my parents I moved to Ankara (Turkey) where I graduated from middle and high schools specializing in foreign languages. In 2003 I received a honor Bachelor degree in Industrial Design in one of the best universities in Turkey, Middle East Technical University. During my studies I made summer practice in PI Makina Company, the manufacturing section of ERG Construction Trade and Industry Co., specializing in design, development and actual manufacturing of construction machines. After that I worked in TRT (Turkish Radio Television) as a 3D animator modeling short introductive movies for television programs dedicated to children and collaborated with Gallery Katya participating in the development of contemporary Russian art exhibition concepts and layouts of exhibition halls.

In 2003 I moved to Florence where in 2004 I received a high honor Master degree in Interior Design. From 2004 up to the present time, I work in Florence Design Academy as an instructor for the courses of Industrial Design, Rhinoceros 3D, Manufacturing, Prototyping and Furniture Design. Meanwhile I collaborated with different design studios in Florence and Turin and in 2006 I conducted a formation course of Rhinoceros 3D in Rivoli (Turin).

Since 2006 I was a member of ADI (Association of Industrial Designers) and I carry out various workshops on product and furniture design, ergonomics and sketching in Italy and abroad. I teach my students to represent their ideas on paper and to THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX.
